Mailchimp Integration

You will need access to your Mailchimp account in order to do this. If you have a technically skilled member of the team that normally handles these sort of changes then it would be advised to let them handle this change. If you feel comfortable with the steps below then you can do this yourself.

Step 1: Login to Mailchimp

Login to your Mailchimp account and navigate to the Audience page. You can access the Audience page by clicking this link: https://admin.mailchimp.com/audience/

Step 2: Select the Audience

Select the audience you want to work with in the the Current Audience dropdown. This will determine which audience additions will trigger the webhook.

Step 3: Select the Settings

Click the Manage Audience dropdown button and select Settings. Then when on this page click the Webhooks button.

Step 4: Create a New Webhook

In the Callback URL field, add your personalised URL:

Step 5: Select the Webhook Options

This URL will receive data about your Mailchimp audience. You will be billed at the end of the month for when new memebers join the audience.

Select the box Subscribes under the question "What type of updates should we send?" and By a subscriber under the question "Only send updates when a change is made …"

Step 6: Save the Webhook

Click Save to save your new webhook.

Step 7: Test the Webhook

You can test the webhook by subscribing to the audience. Click the button below to make sure that One Tribe is listening for your test email subscriber.

When you have added your Webhook please confirm it works by clicking 'Check Integration' below:
